The speed at which events have unfolded since our last publication has fiercely intensified. In this uncertain and seemingly upside-down world, where the liberal world order’s veneer of respectability and international law has all but vanished, it is vital that we arm Communist cadres with the necessary tools: revolutionary theory and Marxist analysis!

The political propaganda machinery and state oppression have been in overdrive since the Bondi terrorist attack.
Ridiculous liberal platitudes from the Albanese Labor government to Zionists currently perpetrating a genocide in Palestine, have ripped the mask off bourgeois democracy. Banned words, brutal assaults by the police, and crackdowns on protests have largely gone unchallenged in any serious manner. But Labor is in trouble, vomiting up word salads trying to explain why our supposed “best allies” are currently putting the world on the brink of a financial and humanitarian catastrophe.
With the US and Israel unrelenting in their imperialist goal of being the dominant force in the Middle East, attacks on Iran have only highlighted the massive miscalculation on the part of Trump. The ripple effects of the predictable unpredictability have left global markets in turmoil, causing huge disruption to the global supply chains. This turmoil and disruption has been severe for the working class across Asia, who continue to suffer brutal attacks from the ruling classes on the region, in the name of economic stability.
The ways in which the contradictions and crises of the world today present themselves in different countries is only the outward expression of a deeper process. At the core is an acceleration of the hoarding of obscene amounts of wealth in the hands of fewer and fewer people, while at the same time, rights that were fought for and won by the struggles of the working class, are being eroded, and our living conditions are declining at an unprecedented pace.
We have seen many union ‘leaders’ all but abandon us, choosing to instead maintain their privileges and line their pockets. Their class collaboration with the enemies of the workers, the Labor Party, is beyond traitorous.
In this context, the first task for communists is to build a cadre organisation that is capable of coming to the correct analysis and drawing out the key lessons from past and current events. In this way, we can intervene in movements as they arise and put forward our positions to the growing layer of revolutionary workers and youth.
In the recent period, comrades of the Revolutionary Communist International in Australia have been busy speaking to precisely this layer of workers and youth across the country. Events like a screening of the opening session of the World School of Communism in Melbourne are being met with huge excitement for revolutionary class politics!
At the time of publication, our second comrade to represent Australia as a delegate will be attending the World School of Communism. Against a backdrop of wars, economic turmoil, and mass movements, it is more important than ever to understand what is happening, and more importantly, what lies beneath the surface.
Thousands of communists from across the globe will gather for a week of high-level political discussions on the burning questions of our time. Over the course of six days, participants will have access to 20+ online presentations on Marxist theory, history, art, and perspectives for the class struggle today. In the lead up to the event, we have been flooded with write-ins from budding communists with highly optimistic messages and deep probing questions.
There has never been a better period in history like now to make the case for communism; a quick look around clearly shows that capitalism cannot secure a stable future for humanity. Our task is to gather the politically advanced workers who are hungry for answers and train them into highly organised, professional class fighters, armed with the iron-clad theory of Marxism, under one banner of global revolution.
